Hi,

I'd like to include some plots of the temporal standard deviation output from mriqc in an fMRI textbook that Rainer Goebel and I are writing but I'd like to understand the images better.  We have two plots, one for a participant with negligible head motion and one for a participant with substantial head motion.  The range of intensities (dark blue to yellow) is similar between the two, though the worse participant has more edge artifacts.  Artifacts around the brainstem look similar between the two.

Is the color scale on temporal noise plots normalized such that any participant's data spans the full color range?  Or is there a fixed scale?  I assume there's normalization (as there is in the line graphs for FD etc.) but would like to be sure.

Thanks for any tips.
