Wilkinson, Bert. "Gay cruise visitors upset with Bahamas.." 95,
no. 30 (2004): 14-14.

A week after a Norwegian Cruise Line ship brought more than 1,000 gays
and lesbians on a family values tour to the Bahamas, a debate about
whether authorities were right in allowing the vessel to dock has
continued to rage. An umbrella group of Christian churches had
organized and staged protest rallies against the cruise visitors,
forcing hundreds to remain onboard fearing personal attacks or an
unwelcome atmosphere. Such was the apprehension that many taxi drivers
and support industry business people complained bitterly about little
or no sales.
