Everybody loved going to Gatsby's house for parties and always talked
about him as if he were an important part of their exciting lives, so
why could no one except Nick and Gatsby's father show up for the
funeral at his home? It was Gatsby's farewell party and no one showed
up. Why did Daisy not show up or leave a address as to where she could
be located?

I think that Daisy did not leave an address or where she was going,
because she wanted to get away, or like everyone else was saying, she
did not want to get involved. She wanted to leave her past behind
her, and move on. As I read about the funeral, I was very upset that
only few showed up. Gatsby was great, so was he not good enough to
say good bye to. When Gatsby did have a party, he was always a loner
and by himself when everyone else at his house were together. Now
that Gatsby is dead, but yet in the open and noticeable, no one shows
up to his farewell party. I think Nick is a great friend and neighbor
which helped Gatsby out many times and in many different situations.
During the affairs was probably the toughest part to deal with for
Nick, but he helped as much as he could and got through it, just like
he got through the funeral and saying good-bye one last time.
