Hi,

Long story short... I am working on a project with Dana Brown. The director of Dust to Glory and Any Given Sunday: Next Chapter.

We're going to be filming a group of riders and they make their way from Ensenada to La Paz - essentially riding the Baja 1000. I will be on the shoot managing and producing things from the agency side. I was thinking that I could bring a bike and produce (ride) parts of the trip from the dirtbike where the trucks wont be able to follow.

My question is, what do you guys do when you need a desert bike for one of your excursions? Do you look for something used? Any advice here would be appreciated.

Peter,

Sounds like a very cool project for you.

There are a few outfitters that might rent you a bike.

Try Chris Haines and Chilly White. Google them.

They run trips down there and have Hondas and KTM’s.

Also, talk to Matt Seiler he has the most knowledge of our group about Baja.
