mr-base vs GSMR

Can anyone tell me, in just basic terms, how the methods used in mr-base are similar or are different from GSMR implemented in R?

GSMR is essentially the same as the IVW method, which is one of the MR methods implemented in MR-Base and the TwoSampleMR package.
