When we use the MRBASE to conduct MR study, otherthan cite the article of "The MR-Base platform supports systematic causal inference across the human phenome", what about the ethics comittee?

Does the MRBASE provide IRB information and ethics committee approvement for using all the datasets?

In the MR-Base database, GWAS summary datasets are only made public after obtaining permission from the original authors of the study, who typically have made the data public themselves elsewhere already.

For published studies please cite the original papers that you use (as provided in the citation info), and report their details on ethical approvals where necessary

For UKB datasets refer them to the approved project on the UKB website and the information they have on ethics

Generally please take the responsibility for ensuring that your study has all the ethical approvals they require.
