MR Base server down?

Hi there.

When attempting to run MR analyses using TwoSampleMR (latest version) on our local cluster, I get the error message

Token cache file: mrbase.oauth
Error: lexical error: invalid char in json text.

when running command "outcome_data <- extract_outcome_data(snps=exposure_data$SNP,outcomes=outnum)". I've realised that I only ever get this error message if I'm also having trouble using the online platform MR Base. For instance, I can log in on the MR Base web app, upload my exposure results and select outcome traits but when I click on "Perform MR analysis", I get the error message "Disconnected from the server." I assume the TwoSampleMR message is because it cannot authenticate properly owing to being unable to communicate with the relevant server.

Being unable to run TwoSampleMR analyses and/or use the MR Base platform (and thus getting the above error messages) is a very frequent thing. I was wondering whether there are server side issues that you're aware of that are causing these issues? If not, any ideas as to why I'm having connection issues so frequently?

I am having similar issues. Did you manage to work out what the problem is and did you sort it?

Hi

The previous message was during a period of downtime but I can't see any server issues at the moment - could you show me the code that isn't working? Feel free to email me directly if you'd rather it not be public
