Hi Jeremy ,

We do these segregation in our broker used in Bevywise IoT Platform.  The platform allows you to have multiple tenants and each tenant have multiple mqtt user name password for their clients.

We deprecated these functions in our MQTTRoute ( mqtt broker) as it enforces all the devices of Client A to use a single Username / password and the same for the Client B. If you are more specific on MQTTRoute over the Platform , we can re enable it for you on the Broker.

Thanks,

Hi Jeremy

many brokers (e.g. Mosquitto and VerneMQ), support a feature called
"Mountpoint" which basically allow you to have different topic trees for
different clients. This could be all you need for supporting multi-tenancy.

Cheers,
Andre

Hi jeremy.

Cloud.solace.com is a hosted multi-tenant broker. There are free as well as supported plans.

How many different tennants are you providing for?

Alternatively if you just need to segregate access to data, you can use a well thought out topic hierarchy combined with client access control rules on the topics.

Rgds phil.
