error codes of subscribe or publish in paho

hi,
I have been quite confused about what the error codes in subscrie or publish signify to can anyone help me find out what these error codes correspond to like for example the conack return codes have some meaning behind it but i cant figure out what the error codes of subscribe or publish correspond to.

If you are using an Open Source broker  (like Mosquitto) you can have a look at the code and see why the broker returns certain error codes.
