Joint Dharna by National Campaigns
23rd and 24th April, 2015,
Jantar Mantar, N Delhi
Dear friends,
This is to inform you that the four networks and campaigns, the Right to Food Campaign, National Alliance of People's Movements (NAPM), Pension Parishad and National Campaign for People's Right to Information (NCPRI) are jointly holding a dharna on the 23rd and 24th of April, 2015 at the Jantar Mantar, Delhi. It has been planned that we should try coming in large numbers and motivate our various groups to mobilise for this Dharna. We should all assemble by the 22nd evening and have a good presence from the morning of the 23rd itself. There should be a strong political message from the two day vibrant protest that the politics of this Government undermines the poor and pro-people policies and is out to attack people's rights and natural resources in favour of the corporate. We will address the following issues over the two days.
Land:
· Land grab for Corporates and the land acquistion ordinance, 2015
· Crop damage and worsening situation of farmers,
The non-implementation of NFSA by Central and State Governments:
· Converting the PDS into cash trasnfers and the move towards DBTs,
· Reducing budgets for children's right to food,
· Non implementation of Maternity entitlements,
Issues related to implementation of NREGA:
· Including delayed payment of wages and the rest,
Pensions:
· Linking pensions to Minimum wages, and universalising it
· Opposing Pension Budget Cuts
· Pension totally as a state contributory entitlement
Transparency and Accountability:
· Increases Transparency in all dimensions of Governance, Protecting the RTI Act, implementing the whistle blowers law, Grievance Redressal.
We are certain that the two day vibrant Dharna will strongly get across our demands and policies to the Government and the MPs.

राष्ट्रीय अभियानों का संयुक्त धरना
23-24 अप्रैल, 2015 जंतर-मंतर, नई दिल्ली
प्रिय साथी,
जैसा कि आपको विदित है कि हम विभिन्न अभियान व नेटवर्क जैसे राईट टू फूट कैम्पयेन (रोजी-रोटी अधिकार अभियान), जन आंदोलनों का राष्ट्रीय समनवय (एन.ए.पी.एम.), पैंशन परिषद् व सूचना के जनाअधिकार के लिए राष्ट्रीय अभियान (एन.सी.पी.आर.आई.) ने तय किया है कि वे मिलकर 23-24 अप्रैल, 2015 को दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर में दो दिवसीय धरना देंगे। 22 अप्रैल, ही सभी को पहुंच जाना चाहिए।
यह तय हुआ कि हमें हर समूह से ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को लेकर जंतर-मंतर पहुंचे। हमें इस कार्यक्रम को राजनैतिक रूप से धारधार और जीवंत बनाकर मजबूत संदेश देना है कि इस सरकार की राजनीति गरीब विरोधी है व जनता के पक्ष की नितियों के खिलाफ है व कॉरपोरेट के पक्ष में प्राकृतिक संसाधन, मजदूरों व आम लोगों के अधिकार छिनने वाली सरकार है। जोर इन खास मुद्दों पर होगा।
जमीन सम्बन्धित:-
· जमीन की लूट व भूमि अधिग्रहण अध्यादेश 2015
· फसल बर्बादी व किसानों की बदतर हो रही हालात
राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा कानून का क्रियान्वयन केन्द्रीय व राज्य सरकारों न करनाः-
· राशन व्यवस्था को नकद हस्तांतरण में परिवर्तित करने की योजना।
· बच्चों के पोषाहार व मध्यान्ह भोजन में बजट की अती कटोती।
· मातृत्व अधिकार को नहीं शुरू करना।
नरेगा:-
· नरेगा का क्रियान्वयन नहीं करने को लेकर केन्द्रिय व राज्य सरकार की साजिश।
· मजदूरी के भुगतान में महीनों निकाल देना व अन्य सम्बन्धित मुद्दें।
पैंशन:-
· पैंशन राशी को न्यूनतम मजदूरी से जोड़ना व सभी एकल औरतें व बुजूर्गों की पात्रता होना।
· पैंशन बजट की कटौती कर सम्पूर्ण सरकारी योगदान खत्म कर बीमानुमा बनाना।
प्रशासन में पारदर्शिता व जवाबदेही सम्बन्धित मुद्दें:-
· सूचना के अधिकार कानून से खिलवाड़ न होने देना,
· विसिल ब्लोउर को लागू करवाना इत्यादि।
हम सभी यह उम्मीद करते है कि हमारी सांझी मांगे व जनपक्षधर नीतियों के लिए एक सशक्त कार्यक्रम की प्रस्तुति होगीं व सरकार तक संदेश पहंुचेगा।
