Fuel pump installed this weekend and no success. Man this is frustrating. You’re right, I should call VF again. They were’nt much help the last time I called…. But I suppose I should just increase the stakes.
The fuel pump I installed is an aftermarket unit known to have excellent flow characteristics. Walbro 225lph. It was pretty inexpensive though – only 120ish.
Shooting a 50cal sounds like a blast! Can I Can I?
Actually, today if you get a chance. –
Maybe you wouldn’t mind calling them??
Here’s the symptoms:
The code is Misfire cyl # 6 using Peake Research tool. Plugs were swapped , coils were swapped, injectors were swapped. Vacuum lines have been checked. Fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter and fuel pump are new. Set’s a code at ~6500 rpm.
Let me know what they come up with.
Yo dre
I will be getting new quad unit today along with rear slim sensors and mounting brackets. It’s a light week for me. Let me know when and where. Holidays are not big deal for me so no worries there. Looking forward to my baby. Did you get a chance to contact VF and ask them if fuel pressure could be cause? Would hate to do it then have it come back after a while. You’re a stud, but maybe the VF guys ought to provide a little service support considering how much they charge. Vroom broom vroom. Let me know when you are ready to shoot a 50 cal sniper rifle that could shoot 6000yds if needed. I only have 600 yd range.
An experience for any human yes. Why? Cuz I can. He he he.
