Nice pics in iforged site.

Some look like my ccw wheels.
If they were just easier to keep clean, I would love em.
I am ok with more than 5 spoke. Just need clean lines, no nook and carnnis

The thing is – to be in the class that you were with the ccw wheels – min $2k for wheels only.

But since we’re trying to keep it in the $1k range.. it’s difficult.

I like the fikse wheel. Profil 5 spoke. Just need to get finish. Their cleaning tips help. Right in line with what I need.
Could not find a price page.

Fikse is one of my fav wheel companies.. wouldn’t expect anything less than $800 per wheel.

If I went with breyton vision II in 20 inch, the front is 8.5 and read 10.5
Will that work? (assuming new tires)
Breyton also has a regular vision (not vision II) that comes in 19 inch.
They are pricey but on sale. May be something I gotta do. 400 each for front. 500 each for rear.
1800 plus tires. total probably around 2500. Back around 750 or so for my set. Gulp. But shit, live and learn. If I put in my hourly rate for time, and how much cleaning it takes, i would make the money back in short order. Depending on what I am diong, I bill out between $40-400 per hour.

On tire rack, they recommend continental 255/30 fron and 295/25 rears. Package price, balanced, etc is ~3K. If you think its a good way to go, I can get em by weekend maybe, then put my tires and wheels in a bag and send em back with you to sell.
Estimate on what they may go for?

I really like the conti sport contact 3’s… cheaper than other options and outperform.

I think you can get $15-1700 ish for your wheels… maybe a bit more or less.

I think the 20’s would look beautiful… and since your suspension is adjustable .. we can make sure it fits perfect.

Tires – I would go with the recommended sizes from tirerack – and the brand – Michelin bridgestone conti sport contact –

So, they only have a place in indiana and 2 day delivery would get it here by friday-ish. Can you take all 4 CCW back with you, including tires?
If you are pretty sure 1500 for my set, then I would do it.
What do you think of the breyton vision II wheels? They look easy to clean. 20" is a step up. May make the car look meaner. The conti's they recommend are pricey but doable.
If you go to tire rack, and look as plain vision wheels, there is a list of photos with difference BMW there. an 02 M3 and a beautiful M5. They are older wheels but still look classy.
I think I ought to do it.
Your vote will confirm or philibuster......senator.

I think I can grab all your wheels in the 5… sure.

I like the vision2 wheels… agree they are classy. . . I would be happy with those. 20’s will def fill the wheel well.

The finish is silver paint.. so they won’t stand out as much.. but probably very easy to keep looking good.

The rear wheels are pretty heavy.. but you’re just a cruiser anyway J

I think you’ll be happy with those.

I’m pretty confident you’ll get at least $1500 for your wheels and tires.

ok. Done
Clean your car. Bring stuff to lift suspension if needed.
Sat or Sun?
I think we can get the laser in quickly. Need wiring diagram. I think we can piggy back to radio unless you have any tricks for taking off door panels. They dont have a lip to pull on.

Sat is good.

Although I may have to pull the “my child is getting born” card. She is due for Monday.

If we want to go in the door I can get the panel off. I’ll bring the E46 manual.

Ship the cheese!

Wheels come friday.
Recommended I wax them. Cleaning with simple green. Had to get pilot sports since no contis
A bit $$$ but in long run, probably well suited for my needs. I loved the CCW look but juice was not worth the squeeze. Especially when you had em for a while and forced me to clean em! :)
See you weekend.

Haha.. but I did’t get the benefit of them.. the car sat the whole time I had it… ‘cept for the bubble runs.
