Nothing new here... just working hard at it!
So here's the list (re-hashed):
1) Spoiler - called the "boot". Need to order it - but need to work the biz discount.
I purchased from NA Motorwerks last year... I'll call them.
2) Gages - do you like the twin on the column?? I think the gage choice in that picture I sent you was a bit weak. I can find some nicer ones /digital/whatever.
Since you have to look at them when you're driving .. constantly... I would consider spending a little more to get some really beautiful ones. The other option
is to attach to the A-Pillar adjacent to the windshield... this is a decent look but really common... I'm tired with it, but if you like it better I'm cool with that.
3) Fogs and high beams matching regular could be a bit tough to get perfect... since it didn't work with the sylvania bulbs.. I'll have to go a bit brighter and stronger. I should ask - what's wrong with a contrasting color - as long as it's very different instead of kinda the same? We can def figure this out though.. no prob.
4) O2 sensors - assuming this is the issue.. not completely confident I trust VF engineering on this .. but I can figure that out. If it IS the issue.. it would explain the fluttering idle sometimes.
5) EML? That's the laser right??? You've already paid me for this so I should def get this done.
6) Raise an inch? not a prob. As a caveat - I'm glad we bought the coil overs because NOW we have that adjustability.
7) Cheezeboy - haven't heard from him.
Sidebar -
Thinking of options to replace the daily grind - I know we've talked about biz possibilities doing the custom thang, but what about something that's more practical... like a dealership? With lowering costs in real estate.. it would probably be pretty cheap to get the min acreage to become a dealer. Since I've sold 20+ cars now on ebay and thru other vendors, I've seen 1st hand the potential to make (AND LOSE) money. I think there's some money there to be had. I guess I was thinking it could definitely supplement the money needed daily to start a more "custom" operation. What are your thoughts??

Sidebar: Now, if you can design parts and performance stuff for BMW, i think
you may have a thing there. 1) you know your shit 2) you know BMW shit 3)
you can design 4) you know how to make it 5) you know guys who may invest
with you
So, if you can make parts and get them selling, and then branch out from
there it may pay off. My uncle must have made a killing selling whale
blubber leather treatments. There is no reason why Dr Dre (and associated,
he he he) cant do the same
2) Gages - A Pillar pod(s) - A/F ratio and boost + Oil Pressure
3) Lighting -
4) O2 sensors fix CEL (check engine light) - Wideband + Stock
5) Laser install
6) Raise an inch
7) Clear coat wheels
8) Fix paint on bumper
9) Rear Stoptech brakes...
Part pricing to come.
