Proposed: (my bang for buck mods)

Stage 1

Wheels $5k or less depending on wheels choice. Install free.
tbd
cheap choice: $2300 w/ tires

Vorsteiner front lip spoiler:
$500 plus paint

Suspension -
Ground Control *** recommended
2100 + 300 = $2400
camber plates included (better tire alignment for life) +koni shocks

Billstein PSS9 Coilover
$1600 + installation 6 hours $300 = $1900
no camber plates

Brakes - ** not needed but would look nice behind wheels
Brembo 4 piston $3500  + installation 5 hours = $3750

Stoptech 4 piston $2600 + installation 5 hours - $2850

As  suggested: (DO NOT RECOMMEND - especially if installing supercharger as they
will be uninstalled)

CHIP-
Not a big fan of spending $500 for 7 hp - do not recommend

Intake:
Not a big fan of this mod.. noisy  - expensive $600 for 10hp.

Stage 2/3/4
Exhaust -
TBD est $1k ish

Limited Slip Diff:
TBD 3.91 gear - est $2k

SC
est $7k-$10k

Thoughts?

Great ideas.
wheels, spoiler suspension all sound strong
explain pss9 please. advantages and effects. not famliar
brakes-existing is good. not sure if 4K for looks at this point. if can "color" without rebuild, would be worth look. may be better for stage 2
stoptech- also not famliar, please explain.
sc in the future for sure. towards warranty end??
surprised you don't recommend chip, intake, exhaust combo but if any of them can be used with sc and no warranty void, then probably makes sense. i figure you will only pick exhaust.
tried to call, got vm
will call again on way to airport. will tell him yes, but will take chances during week and leave to fate. if still there when I return, then meant to be and done deal. if no, then maybe divine intervention. I can see we will have many to pick from, unlike the m5.
I am excited about this car. you have a way of infusing excitement about such things. you should think about getting more serious about your endeavors. talent is a terrible thing to waste. you have the knack for it. that is part of reason I want to pursue this project. as thing have been good career wise, I don't mind the "toy" spending. I suspect as you advance in your career you will have the same temptation in 7-10 years. mid life is not so bad young man!

Ooops..
Under suspension .. they were two options.
G-Control and Bilstein - both are coilover setups. GC comes with camber plates and koni adjustable shocks. Bilstein PSS9(model) has no camber plates and does have a bilstein adjustable shock. I was recommending the GC - excellent quality... Bilsteins are also excellent - chose them for whitey.  If you are to lower- just like on the rear of whitey, it would be nice to have some camber correction to avoid premature wearing of your tire.

Under brakes there are two options as well - brembo (brand name) and stoptech. Both have 4 piston red calipers and xdrilled rotors. Rotor sizes may be different. Since your not racing or going much faster just yet.. I may hold off on this till s/c days.

Exhaust should work well with SC power adder.

See any wheels you like just yet?   I'm thinking the black on black for you since you like that evil (darth vader look).  Apparently you can squeeze a 10" on the rear.  Would you like me to present options and you choose - or shall I choose  :)  ??   *** Single most important aesthetic adder. Would you like to stay cheaper than 5k or is this ok for "the look" ?  I might try to stick a 20" underneath if your really looking for that show look.

OK. understand. You seem to like the GC. I am in. Like the adjustability. Brakes- I agree. lets wait. Would be nice to just add color if possible.
Wheels. This is a tought one. I am in this part only for looks since I am not going to truly get the "use" of the high end wheels. So, that being said, if we can get the look cheaper, that would be my preference. I don't think performance at my level will be noticable. More likely for me is to scuff a curb and rim, then get pissed at the expense. if the rim is cheaper then less pissed is bruce. Know what I mean. So, shoot me some options. The ones I saw on tire rack were OK, but truth was, the one I liked the best was a rim that cost $180. It is the most important part, so we may have to chew and go back and forth on this. If I am flat wrong in left field, use your methods to influence. I will call steve today to firm up and have marcela mail you a check for about 3-5K to get started. Is that OK ?? Flight to Newark at 2pm then Germ at 730 so still in contact if needed.
