CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE ECONOMICS OF EDUCATION IN KOSOVO

We are delighted to invite you to the International Conference on the Economics of Education in Kosovo, which will take place in Prishtina from September 17th-18th, 2013.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo supported by the GIZ-project “Capacity Development in the Basic Education Sector in Kosovo”. The Conference brings together stakeholders from the Kosovar education sector as well as international, regional and local education experts to debate about the importance of investing in education’s Kosovo societal and economic development.

While the first day of the Conference will be dedicated to key note speeches and case studies, during the second day different workshops will be held, through which participants will have the opportunity to debate pressing topics such as research concepts in Education Economics and the labour market developments in Kosovo.

Students wishing to participate are invited to forward to this email address (anna.t...@giz.de<mailto:anna.t...@giz.de>) both their CV and a short Motivation Letter about their interest in gaining a more through understanding of the Kosovar education sector. We especially encourage to apply 3d year Bachelor’s as well as Master’s Degree students who have a strong interest in the Balkans and who studied Education in context of development, Economics or International Relations. Submission deadline for applications is August 26th.
