MPP as host of Sheridan's visit

After several meetings since June this year and text messages since last week,

the visit of Peter Sheridan is all set.

We received the final confirmation on the date of his coming late afternoon

last Monday, November 12, 2012.

Please find attached your invite to all his activities with the Program of the Forum.

Abner, please find attached the letter for Councilor Dalisay. Please let me know

kung unsa iyang response.

JunE, please find attached the letter for the Chief of Police for Munai as you requested.

November 17:  7pm - 8:30pm  - MPP will meet Peter Sheridan in Corporate Inn  for briefing.
November 18:
            1. 8am - departure to Munai for his community visit
             2. 1-2pm - Press Con at IPDM Building
             3. 2-5pm - Forum at CED Amphi Theater, MSU-IIT
             4.  5pm - brief assessment / feedbacking; meeting with other expats (Jayshree, Mark and others)
             5. 6:30pm - departure to CdO

Greetings!

 

Peter Sheridan is best known as a Police Service of Northern Ireland Assistant Chief Constable and the force’s highest ranking Catholic Officer.  With his new Role as the Chief Executive of Co-operation Ireland, he sees this as an extension role in what he has been involved in the Police Service.  “Co-operation Ireland has been very successful in a conflict situation for the last 30 years…” to quote Peter.

 

OBE Peter Sheridan is coming to the Philippines on the 13^th to 21^st November 2012.  Within those days, he will come to Iligan on the 17^th and 18^th November. As the long time partner of VSO, we, MPP is hosting his visit. 

 

We proposed to meet him for a briefing on November 17, 2012, 7pm-8:30pm at Corporate Inn. On the following day, RDRRAC is leading him to visit Munai as one of the Municipalities mentioned in the Framework Agreement.  He will meet and talk with community leaders in Barangay Tambo. A Press Conference will follow at 1-2pm which is an hour before the Forum.

 

With his work in Ireland, we MPP together with the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao of MSU-IIT  is organizing a Forum on Police Work  and Peacebuilding on November 18, 2012, 2-5pm, College of Education Amphi-theater of MSU-IIT, Iligan City. Please see attached program.

 

As we are the host of Peter Sheridan’s visit, I would like to invite you or your representative to join in all the activities with him.
