MPP Planning on October 25-26 at SEARSOLIN, CDO

Dear partners,
The Convenors have confirmed October 25-26 at SEARSOLIN, Cagayan de Oro City for MPP’s next planning exercise. If you recall, 2 years ago we also convened at the same venue to define MPP’s set of vision, mission and values. I thought it was very productive and paved the way for synergy amongst partners. It is that time of the year once again!
What have we accomplished as an alliance?
How did we measure up against our mission?
And how do we move forward especially with new socio-political developments?
Two years from now, what will become of MPP?
These questions might be the same questions you have in mind so what we need to do in order to prepare for the planning exercise are the following:
1. Mark your calendars on October 25-26 (we start promptly at 9AM on October 25 since we only have 2 full days and we will hopefully finish by 4PM the next day)
2. Send your confirmation to me and copy marjori...@vsobahaginan.org no later than next Wednesday, September 26. We would like to request the heads of the organizations to come, if this is not possible then please send a representative who is familiar to our work, he or she can decide on behalf of the organization and certainly can commit time. Because of budget constraints, we can only accommodate 1 representative. J
3. If you cannot come and will only send a representative, please send us the name, email address and contact number.
4. Accommodation (one night) and meals during the planning exercise will be covered by us. We will refund your transportation to and from SEARSOLIN.
VSO Bahaginan will facilitate the planning exercise. We might also need volunteer-facilitators so please let me know if you are interested. Will send more updates (workshop design and other materials) and pre-workshop exercises later on.
