Vote For Lexie!!

Hello Friends,

I am writing to you because ASOSU elections are now in full swing, and one of the candidates is an up-in-comming student leader who I have worked quite a bit with on the Corvallis-OSU Collaboration Task Force.

Lexie Merrill has consistently amazed me, having the courage to be the sole student representative in often heated meetings between Corvallis land lords and OSU officials over student housing issues.  She has been a strong advocate of non-traditional students, being a single mother herself, those issues are core to her work.  She's managed ASOSU SafeRide, working with campus transportation staff on campus to reduce wait times for SafeRide users and increasing its physical accessibility.

So if you vote for student leadership, please vote for Lexie.  She's been an inspiration to me and isn't afraid to 'tell it like it is' even when the multiple streams around her are tending in a direction not so helpful to students.
