I googled 4/20 stoners. Here is the result:
The 4:20 councils, which are supposed to start at 4:20 PM each day,
get their name from the police code for the smoking of marijuana.
Police have code numbers they use, as shorthand for various types of
crimes that need to be investigated, such as breaking and entering,
assault, littering, whatever... and the code that meant someone is
smoking marijuana was 4-20.
I never knew that. I learn something new every day. lol

Perfect example of why we need to legalize and tax pot. Imagine the
money we'll save on law enforcement, prosecutions, incarcerations
added to the tax revenue.

alcohol, why not marijuana? Even if you ignore all the tests and
studies that say it's not really that bad for people, it's pretty much
common knowledge that alcohol is poison. If we're going to let people
kill themselves, why do we get to pick the instruments?
Oh... and for anyone interested. The whole shebang got outlawed back
in the day when the rich lumber barons didn't want to lose their ass
when it was discovered that hemp paper was cheaper and easier to
produce than wood paper. A giant smear campaign later, and you end up
with kids getting shot for something that would otherwise grow
naturally all over.
I'm not a huge fan of it because I get deliriously paranoid, but if
someone else wants to, far be it from me to make that choice for them.
