current_user_can for BuddyPress?

Is there a version of current_user_can that relates to BuddyPress group roles?  Specifically, I would like to display a chunk of code for users who are "Moderators" of a specific group forum.

Or do you know of an alternate way to target group moderators in BuddyPress?
