Restrictions on corporate use of themes or plugins?

Do you happen to know if there are any restrictions or fees required
to use themes or plugins when using Wordpress.org?

I believe that would be stated in the theme and plug in your use. Are you
modifying? Do you or your client want to remove the existing footer
information?

Restrictions do not exist, but be careful because the installation of many plugins can slow the server
