Hi!  Just doing some basic research to satisfy my own curiosity here.  Does anyone know what temp agencies are paying for WP contracts these days?  I did some googling, but the salaries I found on glassdoor, etc. were all full-time types of salaries, and I know that temp agencies price work differently.

I know it varies by job, experience, location, etc.  But if we're ballparking, what could someone reasonably expect to make in Minneapolis per hour from a temp agency for:
  1. Basic WP marketing stuff (content updates, email list management, etc)
  2. Medium-difficult WP stuff (bug-fixing, troubleshooting, style fixing, etc.)
  3. Advanced WP stuff (server management, scaling on AWS, etc)

Thanks,
Toby

Toby:

I have worked projects on and off through an agency (Creative Circle) over the last 7 or 8 years and the $ hourly can be a pretty big spread. I have told my primary recruiter my dollar per hour range and they tend to not even contact me unless the hourly in their position is in my range.

I have seen a few on LinkedIn and other sites (like Creative Circle) where they have had kind of your #1 and #2 (basic & medium WP stuff like we have a website, but need help fixing/improving/etc or we need help fixing visible errors on our website) and the range has been $30-45 per hour. When you get into more of the full site development or working as a contractor at an agency, the hourly goes up but the expectation of experience level is much higher.
