Dear Colleagues and Friends

We are writing to you all with grieved hearts, as our colleague Dr. Varalakshami Chaudhry, Associate Professor, Linguistic Empowerment Cell, JNU left us for heavenly abode on 3^rd July, 2015. For us and for LEC, her untimely demise due to the road accident has shocked the family and friends alike.

However, she left behind some pleasant memories of our togetherness that was shared in LEC and in the Centre for Linguistics. She was a very enthusiastic teacher and was able to bring an unusually positive synergy while assisting our students in JNU.

In order to remember her being with us and to offer prayer for departed soul to rest in peace, a small 'Condolence Meeting' has been organized at the Convention Centre (Committee Room) in JNU on 15^th July, 2015 at 2:30 p.m.
