Greetings from Public Health Foundation of India !
The Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi (IIPH-D), established by the Public Health Foundation of India (www.phfi.org), has successfully been functioning as one of the nodal institutions for public health education, advocacy, research and practice by providing quality public health training to graduates of diverse disciplines. Apart from conducting full time academic courses, we also have been organizing several short term trainings. As a part of ‘Workshop Series 2014-2015’ we are inviting applications for a four day workshop on ‘Project Management of Health Programmes' scheduled on July 8-11, 2014.
This workshop would cover key issues in Project Management and provide inputs on the details of Project Cycle Management. At the end of the workshop the participants are expected to be capable of designing a robust health project with a focus on final results. This training aims to provide participants with certain tools of project management that would enable managers to use/assess and respond to issues in their own workplaces. The training would use adult learning methods including case-studies and practice sessions.

Key Resource Faculty:
Shomik Ray would lead the training programme. He is a senior faculty at IIPH Delhi and has 14 years of experience in the development sector in India. He specializes in Programme Management and Economic Evaluation and has special interest in training.
