Adding Led Controller like Fadecandy

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a solution to add a new LED board to my project.
I currently have a P3-ROC with PD-LEDs.
I wanted to add a Fadecandy board, but the boards are hard to find and are no longer supported by the creators.
Have you ever tried an LED controller other than Fadecandy that doesn't require adding a main control system (like CobraPin or FAST)?

are you aware that PD-LED boards can drive serial LED chains?

If you cannot use the PD-LED for some reason, you can use my CobraPin SweetLED board. It is a standalone board that I made specifically as a fadecandy replacement.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I'm going to order and test the board. Is there a driver that needs to be installed? I couldn't find that info on Pinside.

No, there is no special driver. I can help you get it setup. I am cobra18t on Discord if you prefer that form of communication. 

If you have used fadecandy, I assume you are familiar with mixing hardware platforms? The SweetLED puts all 256 RGB LEDs in a single chain, so that is a difference between it and fadecandy's 8x 64 pixel chains.

If you need extra switches or RC servos, it can also handle that.
