Just did a fresh install of Python and MPF (first time). I can run demo man and mc demo but the keyboard buttons do not respond. For example when I press "S" in demo man the game does not start. The DMD is in focus. The only button it seems to recognize is the escape button. Any ideas what I am missing?
Dell laptop windows 10 home edition. 64bit.
MPF version v0.53.1
Python version 3.5.4

Hey Kevin, this is a bit of a funny issue that Windows machines have, and I've seen it before. Usually it's as simple (and annoying) as numlock. Try turning off numlock and then give it a shot?
