MPF language server error

Good afternoon

I'm using visual studio code and the mpf language sever is not working.

Ever since I installed it, the VSCode has been coming up with an error saying "couldn't start client mpfls" so I tried re-enabling it, researching & re-installing it, but I am unfortunately having no luck.

Could anyone please help?

Which error do you get when running "mpfls" on the console?

The error which is coming up is:

'[Error - 2:27:52 pm] Starting client failed

Launching server using command mpfls failed'

Where do you get that error? Please try in a terminal.

Hi Jan,

That error is popping up in the output box - I have attached a screenshot to assist.

I am very new to using the program, so I'm not familiar with using Terminal.

I have only downloaded the ZIP file, and only downloaded the vsix file for vscode

Is there anything else that i'm missing that may be causing the problem?

Probably the autor has already solved this problem, but you have to start Visual Studio Code from the root folder of your machine.
