I believe JAK2 inhibitors per se will prove to be akin to arch
supports for flat feet. Despite all the investor excitement press
releases, they all, in my opinion, miss the big point.
In mice there is now evidence there exists different pluripotental stem cells migrating into the marrow and astoundingly, where it is in the environment affects what type of blood cell it is to develop into. There is, quite possibly, no single pluripotential stem cell.

There has been previously posted on www. mpdsupport. org evidence that the biology and place surrounding a pluripotential stem cell influences how that cell will develop. Stunningly, where and next to what the pluripotential cell is located and genetic changes in surrounding bone cells have a major if not deciding factor in its' development. This is new information recently posted on www. mpdsupport. org.

In research gathered up and previously posted on here on mpdsupport. org, there is posted scientific evidence that blood and marrow stem cells eminate from the lining inside the marrow and not as is previously thought from disconnected development within the marrow itself.

The current working theory in the decades after Osler in 1906 is that one single pluripotental stem cell in the marrow goes rogue due to an acquired defect, and that replication advantage becomes the birth of our different diseases. But that might not pan out to be true at all.
