I'm trying to install 4.4-REL on a old, but otherwise nice HP LC series
netserver. It has embedded aic7770 controller. The kernel does not find
any scsi controllers and of course disks.
Is there something changed regarding aic777x and 4.4 ?
I have about 3 boxes running with aic777x controllers (also EISA) and
they're running fine. I haven't installed 4.4 on them though, upgraded via
make world.
Where should I start looking at ?
btw. kernel finds eisa0 and reports correctly mainboard name so it seems
to be able to talk to EISA bus.
TIA
Lauri

That option did the trick, thanx!

I'd be interested in the output of a verbose boot from that machine.
