Variable resolution mesh

Hi Michael,

Earlier, I got a variable resolution mesh from you ranging between 3 and 48 km where 3 km covers entire California and Nevada. I use three nested grids in WRF with resolution 4, 12 and 36 km as part of comparing WRF results against MPAS results. I was wondering if you could provide a new variable resolution mesh to me ranging between 4 km that covers California and Nevada and extends to a coarser resolution, maybe 48 km again or whatever the value you think appropriate. In that way, I would have both models with similar spatial resolution over the domain of interest. Also, is it possible for users to prepare their model mesh to their choice? If so, how do we do it?
