Hi:
I would be very glad to help you but you need to give me details of
what you are trying to do, for instance, version of MPAS you are
using, grid resolution, etc... Can you attach your log files, for
instance.

Thanks,
Laura

Hi, Xiaofei.

I understand from your conversation with Laura that you're using Intel compilers. Which version are you using?

After compiling the 'atmosphere' core in a clean copy of the MPAS v3.3 release, can you list the RRTMG tables to ensure that they all exist, and that they have the correct permissions? If you add the '-L' option, the 'ls' command will try to resolve the symbolic links, e.g.,

/scratch/MPAS-Release >ls -lL RRTMG*
-rw-r--r-- 1 duda mmm  847552 Mar 25 11:56 RRTMG_LW_DATA
-rw-r--r-- 1 duda mmm 1694976 Mar 25 11:56 RRTMG_LW_DATA.DBL
-rw-r--r-- 1 duda mmm  680368 Mar 25 11:56 RRTMG_SW_DATA
-rw-r--r-- 1 duda mmm 1360572 Mar 25 11:56 RRTMG_SW_DATA.DBL

Can you also verify that the file sizes match those shown above?

Best regards,
Michael
