Hello friends!
On the evening of Saturday, August 10th, right at 8pm, Salsa Masala will be playing in the Plaza at The Shed, the brand new art space on Manhattan's west side, right at the end of the Highline - 30th street b/t 10th and 11th avenues.
Salsa Masala received one of the Shed's inaugural Open Call awards, and we're really excited to be playing a mix of Indian-Latin music from our album, Five Borough Block Party, as well as some new music that's been composed especially for the opening. In fact, I think we'll be one of the first pure music acts to be performing at The Shed.
It's a $free event, but register to join us and help us christen this amazing new plaza space. The retractable roof alone is a site to see, to say nothing of the other great art there.
