We're very excited to be playing a double bill with Rini at DROM NYC at 6:30pm on Friday, July 6th! 

Rini's a phenomenal carnatic violinist, vocalist, and composer who's recorded with Bollywood (and Slumdog Millionaire) composer AR Rehman.

Some other exciting updates on the horizon:

• Thanks to all who came out to the Microsessions gig. We got some nice coverage in the Queens Times Ledger.

• 2018: We were recently awarded an Artist Commissioning Program Award by the Queens Council on the Arts to bring our music to the next level! They've connected us with a handful of opportunities (see below!)

• September 15th: The original inspiration for Salsa Masala, a Jackson Heights Block Party, will be coming to life! On September 15th, in partnership with the Queens Council on the Arts and the 82nd Street Partnership, we'll be bringing our music to the streets of Queens, at the literal intersection of Indian and Latin music and communities! This event is totally free, open to all ages, and will feature some of the best, multi-cultural food vendors in the borough---to say nothing of some of the best musicians :)
  

• Fall 2018: With the support of the QCA grant, we've been in the studio, recording an album! We've been laying down the tracks over the last few months, and it should be out this coming Fall! Stay tuned...!
