Salsa Masala is a pioneering foray into Indo-Latin-Jazz fusion, ornamenting Indian melodies seamlessly into the jazz-funk idiom, through Cumbia and Salsa rhythms, and back again. It’s emerged from decades of collaborations with a vast array of musicians: Lenny White, Steve Gorn, Sonny Simmons and the Cosmosomatics, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Ustad Sultan Khan, Emefe, the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance, and Nile Rogers, among many others.
