Thank you Prezo, I am sure that we shall all give what we can to support and pass our condolences to Dr. Oloo and his family.

I wish to address an issue I feel touches on all of us, we have since September channeled our issues through the class president or her deputy Mr Mulwa and I feel that the same should continue as that is the reason for electing her, so that we can have structured communication among our selves and with our Lecturers.

I also wish to point out that what happened in class yesterday should be addressed so that there is no bad blood between the class mates because some of your expressed their displeasure soon after class wound up. Gitonga asked our new colleague to introduce himself and he said that he had done that last week, not all of us were there and it would have only been polite to state who he is for the sake of us who were not in. I also feel that all us are in this class as per our own right irrespective of age and to state that one should introduce themselves to the other because they are younger or older , in my opinion is wrong. Respect is mutual and should cut both ways.

As I class president and in consultation with your deputy i beseech you on behalf of the rest of the class to find a way of addressing this issue so that we can move forward with no acrimony or bad feelings which i feel might be brewing. See you all in the evening.

Joyce, this is soooooooo petty!

Some young man who was not in last week asked me to introduce myself soon after I spoke at the end of the class. Tongue in cheek I said I had introduced myself last week - which is true - and anyway my age does not allow me to introduce myself to him but it is him to come to me and introduce himself to me. Then the class had a good laugh after that! Why would anyone take issue with this jameni. I find it petty in the extreme and will leave it to rest.

The author must also be complaining about my making the announcement in class about the death of Dr. Oloo's wife and giving information on the same, not knowing that I had quietly gone to Veronica and asked her to make the announcement and she, veronica had requested me to please make the announcement!

Anyhow, everyone has their station in life. I see no reason to give this any thought beyond here. I copied to Veronica deliberately so that she is aware I discussed her name here.
