Mixpanel dropping support for SSL 3.0, IE6

Hello!

Because of the POODLE vulnerability, Mixpanel is dropping support for SSL 3.0 across all our tracking endpoints, starting today. This includes both /track and /engage.

This means that for customers using our Javascript library, tracking will now fail for actions performed by users on Internet Explorer 6 visiting HTTPS pages. IE6 is the only browser still in use that does not support the newer encryption protocols that are not susceptible to POODLE. 

Globally IE 6 represents less than 0.1% of events collected by Mixpanel. However, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at sup...@mixpanel.com if you believe this will significantly impact your data.
