Problems with Tags

Morning,

I'm having trouble with tags in a new MozTrap install.

Global tags don't show the Save Tag button (and the source of the page shows them to not be present).

Product level tags give a floating error when loading the Edit form, with or without cases assigned to that tag.

I can't find anything about this in the MozTrap corner of Bugzilla. Being pretty core, I figure it's something that someone would have spotted. I can't see any tagging-related commits on GitHub either.

Is this a config problem on my part? Any pointers would be appreciated.

Dan--  Right you are.  This is a bug.  In-house at Mozilla we tend to create product specific tags and don't create them this way that often.  That being said, this should have been working.  We'll create some selenium tests to be sure this is covered in the future.  I'm testing the fix right now and will push it out to a branch here in maybe 1 hour or so.   I'll let you know.  It will likely be branch 1.4.7.1, as this is just a bug fix.

Dan-- OK, I have a fix for this in branch 1.4.7.1 now.  It's currently being tested by QA, but you can feel free to try this out, too.  There are no db changes or anything, so it's just a code update.
