Hi everyone,

We'll not have a community call for a couple of weeks now due to Mozilla staff being away. But work still continues asynchronously! :-)

There's three Google Docs - one for each of the strands - where we need to work on defining the skills under each of the competencies.

Link: http://bit.ly/weblitstd-skills

Our next call is on Monday 3rd June. You can listen back to previous calls via the Web Literacy standard blog (http://weblitstd.tumblr.com)

Finally, we're looking at the end of June for a beta release of the standard. This may change depending on progress and external factors.

Keep on keepin' on,

Just bumping this thread. We've still got another 10 days or so to work defining the skills under the three strands (Exploring, Building, Connecting) in these Google Docs:

There's been some great work done so far, so feel free to jump in - add, edit, comment! :-)

I hope to jump in soon, after being swamped with other work this week.

Thanks, Doug!

I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks - this is very helpful for getting refocused.

Ditto -- had a big event, and then a move... so, refocusing on the WLS this next week :o)

I had some great feedback that it wasn't so easy for people new to the Web Literacy Standard to come in and add their comments.

To that end, I've synthesized some of the 'messiness' of the Google Docs, so it should be clearer where we're at. You can access them at the link below:
