Hi Guys ,
I got a problem , today I was trying to open thimble on
Firefox in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I am unable to do so , looks like I am getting
a Untrusted Connection from thimble website. I am getting the following
message ,

*" This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to thimble.webmaker.org, but we can't confirm that your connection
is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Technical Details
thimble.webmaker.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for tbpl.mozilla.org

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain) "*

Note: Works fine on Windows 7

Had any one tried accessing thimble on ubuntu 12.04 LTS ? If you have any
ideas to solve this , please let me know :)

Looks like it's fixed for me...are you still seeing the issue?

Hey Gauthamraj,

It might be because your browser is unable to validate the digital
certificate for the site.

I'm not quite sure where you can obtain the certificate for the site,
however, usually the browser asks you validate the certificate and add it
to exceptions

Hope that helps.

It sounds like at some point the tbpl.mozilla.org ssl cert got messed up.
It's not now (at least not for me)...you might try refreshing with
ctrl-shift-r to see if you wipe the cert from cache? It's also possible
that the cert is cached in the load balancer incorrectly, but we'd see
additional people having this issue...
