Hi,

I came across this fantastic
document<http://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/topic/B125BBFA3197257535F97E315A83E564/uploads/how_to_hackathon_with_youth.pdf>,
put together by our friends at Open Data BC and the Ministry of Education
on running a hackathon.

Although the hacking focus (initially) is around open data, this doc has
loads of good advice and thorough documentation: from brainstorming your
event, to anticipating challenges, planning technology, execution, final
analysis - and even how to solicit sponsorship for bigger events . If
you're interested in running a hackjam ( Maker party) this summer, you'll
probably find this helpful in some way.

(nice to see a list of programming/learn to code resources including
Webmaker :)
