another popcorn hackjam at GVPL?

So have a request to do a second popcorn hackjam at the GVPL - I guess
the first one was a success.

They are proposing to do it on a Pro-D day, which means a weekday. The
proposed date is Friday October 24.

This one would be at Nellie McLung branch. The lab is bigger and with
the ProD day there is a chance of even more kids. The last one was 6
kids. Having Herb was a blessing, the mix was perfect. I am hoping
similarly I could get one other person to volunteer? Realize this is a
big ask as it is a weekday.

Let me know and I will get back to them to confirm.


As a kind of not-totally-webmaker aside, I am going to propose two other
workshops with GVPL for adults in the coming months, one a "cryptoparty"
to help people learn about how to secure their online activities, the
other a "wikipedia edit party." If anyone wanted to get involved in
helping with those too, I'd be happy for the help.

Won't be able to do Oct 24th as that is also Mozfest ...
