Hi,

I just wrote a blog post:

http://bc.mozillacanada.org/maker-party-2013/

On the launch of Mozilla's Maker Party launch. Same idea as last year's
summer code party, but without the seasonal reference :)

Since last summer's events, we've had A LOT of interest - youth groups, and
organizations wanting to run hackjams, but because our core volunteer group
is so small, it's been tough/impossible to keep up. I see collaboration as
key to moving forward, and so I'm sending this out as an invitation to run
a couple of events together this summer. Events can be easy - find
some examples
here <https://webmaker.org/guides>, and if we each take small pieces even
easier!

I know this list includes youth leaders, educators, technologists, 1
biologist :) , filmmakers, open data folks and beyond - if we all get
together, I have no doubt we could run a couple of fun events for kids.

Are you in? What do you think?
