These examples will not work in a current  "stock" Seamonkey/TB build.
  Here are some examples:

value effect example
scroll text scrolls across display and re-appears from the other end when it has disappeared from one end. This is the default behaviour. Hello World............. Hope that Moz will keep up to the rest of the world
slide This is similar to scroll except that when the sliding text reaches the far end of the box, it disappears and restarts at the starting end of the box. If the display is not looping then the text remains positioned at the far end of the box. Hello World
alternate text "bounces" between the ends of the box Hello World
h
value effect example
right starts at left hand end Hello, World
left starts at right hand end Hello, World

The example below has an added feature. Mousing over the marquee, stops the motion., if JS is enabled.
It looks like you have Javascript disabled.

Hi Joe,

Man, it's been a while since anyone has posted here. As a matter of fact, it was me getting reamed by Chris!!  :-D   Everything you posted looks great in my old Moz Suite 1.7.13.

Yes
Marquee stopped working around 2008-09-22 on trunk.
I'm testing a pre-release extension that seems to restore marquee.
Sooner or later you will want to upgrade to a new version of SM
I'd be nice to have this work in newer versions.
