Lost address book entries

I don't know what happened but all the entries in my address book
have disappeared. I can see them in my Profile folder, (with Notepad),
but not in Thunderbird.
I have never restored a backup, with MozBackup, but I do have a
couple. Can I restore just the address book? If I do and something
goes wrong, will the backup copy be destroyed? I'm using TB 3.1.10 on
Windows XP.
Yesterday I got a warning from Kaspersky anti-virus about an email
that it quarantined. I think I deleted it from the Trash folder. Could
this be the problem? It was one of those Sun Trust Bank fraud letters.
I never opened it and just deleted it. It is however in Quarantine,
says Kaspersky. Any hope of getting addresses back? Thank you all.

Never mind..... I played with MozBackup and it worked just fine.
Restored address book only. It left everything else intact. Since I
had never used the Restore part I didn't know what to expect.
