Hi Thunderbird Users,

I'm using IMAP protocol here and I've a question regarding IMAP email messages.

Let me explain what I actually want:

1. I want to delete IMAP emails on each folder on the remote server after 30
days so that the account space don't get full.
2. But I want to _keep_ the received emails on local computer also _after_ 30 days.

I've enabled "offline" storage for emails, but it don't work, the emails gets
even deleted on local folder.

What should I do so that the emails gets deleted after 30 days on the server
folders but don't on local computer?

With best regards

*Move* them from the Inbox, for sure. You'll have to archive the
messages, in Local folders or elsewhere. Consider using a message filter
to automate it.

Hmm, OK, but I think using the same method like Microsoft Outlook Express would
be the better choice.

Each deleted mail will be showed with a special "deleted" symbol and as over
striked text.

What are you responding to?

I don't use OE.

Have the 'marked as deleted' is fine. The original at the server is
still available for reading.
