SMTP settings for Hotmail

I have this problem every time....
Outgoing Server (SMTP)
What settings do I need to have to make Hotmail take my mail?
I know it's smtp-mail.outlook.com
and I use my full address *with* the domain. But which port? Which
Authentication method and Connection Security?

Connection security: SSL/TLS
Authentication method: Normal password
Outgoing Server (SMTP)
Description: Microsoft Live Hotmail
Server Name: smtp-mail.outlook.com
Port: 587
User Name: your...@outlook.com
Authentication method: Normal Password
Connection Security: STARTTLS

Close. What you've given is the *user name*, not Server Name. The Server
Name is pop-mail.outlook.com. Plus, you've given the info for incoming
mail, which wasn't what I was looking for. I just wanted to be able to
forward newsgroup messages via email.
But I thank you for responding nonetheless.

That said, I _did_ find my answers by searching, but not with
you-know-who. I posted here first because I'd repeatedly failed to find
the answers in TBird files or at Hotmail. But I reasoned that _someone_
would've put up the information because the problem has bitten me often.
I'm ready to deep six my phone because of G. The sooner, the better.
