Thunderbird 3.0.1 "copy to" (not)

Open (select) Inbox
Right click any message
observe pop down menu with "copy to" about the middle.
drag cursor on top of "copy to"
(nothing happens)
left click "copy to"
(nothing happens)
right click "copy to"
(nothing happens)

Don't I remember this working in 2.0.23 ?

This has probably already been identified as a bug.
I could not possibly be the first person to see this.

YES. It does not work in safe mode.
Reporting bugs...
1. Use the latest nightly build of Thunderbird with a new profile
2. Determine which product has the bug
3. Check if the bug is already filed
4. Finally, read the official Bug Writing Guidelines

Not sure what this means, but 3.0.2pre rev 1.9.1.8 does NOT
have that problem. Does that mean it is my computer? Or does
that mean it has already been fixed?

3.0.2pre (though) has another problem. I cannot connect to
incoming.verizon.net. 8-< I will have to see if this is MY
problem or Tb's problem.

Thanks, Nir! Got hit with this bug today in TB3 on a Vista machine after
no problem with copy to, move to, or file for 4 or 5 days. Sure is an
easy fix (one minor prefs.js edit) compared to hours of pain and
suffering setting up a new profile with ported files, etc.

BTW, drag and drop worked before I found your above reply to the OP.
