Moving From SeaMonkey To Thunderbird

I moved from SeaMonkey to Thunderbird as my primary e-mail program
And I followed the instructions to import all of my stuff and it said it did
but saying and doing are two different things as nothing got imported.
Using Thunderbird 6.

I'm pretty sure that's a known bug. You can still move the data manually.

Your user data is stored in a separate folder, referred to as your
profile folder. Because SeaMonkey and Thunderbird share so much code, a
lot of the user data is stored in the same format.

First, to find your SeaMonkey profile folder, go to
Help-->Troubleshooting_Information, then in the Troubleshooting
Information page, click [Open Containing Folder]. Thunderbird has the
same menu entry. You can use the same method in Thunderbird to find your
Thunderbird profile folder.

_Mail_
When you create a mail account, a folder named after the mail server is
created to hold all data pertaining to that account. (For example
\1a2b3c4d.default\Mail\pop.mail.yahoo.com\) Your mail folders are
contained in UNIX mbox format. They are the files without extensions
(Inbox, not Inbox.msf). To restore them in their new location, first
create the account in Thunderbird, so the folder is created. Close
Thunderbird, delete the contents of the new folder, and copy the files
without extensions in their place.

_Passwords_
Your passwords are stored in the files signons.sqlite and key3.db. First
use the password manager in Thunderbird at least once, so it creates the
file. Then close Thunderbird and replace the newly created
signons.sqlite and key3.db with your SeaMonkey ones.

_Address Book_
Your address books are contained in files with MAB extensions in your
profile folder. abook.mab is your personal address book. history.mab is
your collected address book. Any other address books you have created
will be named accordingly, with the *.mab extension added on. To restore
that data in Thunderbird, open the Thunderbird address book window, so
Thunderbird creates it's own abook.mab file. Close Thunderbird and
replace the newly created abook.mab with your SeaMonkey one.
