here's a problem i haven't seen inquired about yet...

i have successfully been downloading my netscape mail... for many years
now... but since my last reinstall of the webmail addon i have been
wondering how to shut off the downloading of sent mail from the server?

i used to set tb to copy sent mail to a different directory... which it
can still do... but the server sends all my sent mail back to me as
unread messages, albeit in the proper sent mail folder...

is there a way to stop this?

sean

haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

I can't answer your question specifically but are you sure you
need the webmail add-on to receive/send your netscape mail? When
AOL took over back when, I know I received detailed instructions
on how to configure my e-mail client to receive/send via the
AOL/AIM Imap server.

way back when aol took over netscape i quit using the address for real
mail... now that i'm on the move i'm trying to reclaim this for personal
mail...

but don't need multiple copies... nor my "sent mail" sent back to me as
"unread"
