I work in Threads With Unread view, and I like to have all of those
threads expanded. Is there a tweak that will automatically expand all
of them when I enter the group? Of so, please share.

If I expand all threads before I leave a group, they are expanded when I
return. Is that not sticking for you?

It's not, Lee. I always expand all with "*"; I leave it that way; I
always have to again when reentering group. Incidentally, "/" doesn't
collapse all threads, as View|Threads indicates it should, but that
might be a FF/Linux thing and I don't mention it as being in any way
relevant to the non-stickiness of the expand setting. I forgot to
mention: TB 2.0.0.5/Linux; my bad.

Okay, the back slash works fine in collapsing threads on OSX. I've
expanded the threads, gone to another group, they were still expanded
when I returned.

I also tried going to another news server, reading email, and on
returning to the group, its still expanded. Now lets try closing TB and
reopening, to see if it sticks.

Nope, still sticks here.

I'm not really going to be able to test this on Linux tonight, but on
OSX, if the threads are expanded, the setting sticks.

Sorry I don't have more to add right now..

It's only a minor annoyance. It's not like something that's going to
drive me into the cold, slimy, outstretched arms of Google Groups.

Especially with the news clients slrn, Pan, XLRN and Knode all also set
up, configured and used to one extent or another on this box. ;)
